AAS Medal 1990 / Fleuroselect Gold Medal 1990. The bright and intense Orange of the lower petals is sharply contrasted by the deep Purple of the upper ones. The deep Purple colour often forms around the edge of the whole flower. This is the first Pansy to create such a novel, unusual and bold effect. All Violas prefer a moist rich soil. Sow seeds indoors from late winter for spring planting out, or late summer for autumn transplanting.
