Statice Pink Pokers
- Botanical Name: Limonium suwarowii
Russian Statice. A very different, striking plant from Turkistan with long vertical catkin-like spikes that are gracefully curled and covered with small Purple-Pink flowers rising from a neat rosette of pleasing pale green foliage, hence the plant's popular name Pink Pokers. The pokers are very decorative in bouquets and should be used to outline the shape of the arrangement. A slight fragrance may be noted, surprisingly in Statice. They dry very well if picked early and hung upside down.
Annual; 18-24 degrees; 10-14 days; 80cm height; 20cm apart; Full Sun; 1.2.3; 100 seeds; Cut Flower; Dried Flower.
