Botanical Name: Knautia macedonica

Classical clumping border plant in shades of Lavender Blue, Mauve, Red and Pink flowering from mid summer through to the autumn frosts. Related to and resembling a Scabiosa, Knautia comes from Central Europe which means that it is winter hardy. The clustered flowers look like a single bloom resembling a pin cushion and make a great cut flower. Chill seeds for 2 weeks before sowing.
