Helenium Summer Glow
- Botanical Name: Helenium autumnale/Helenium grandiflorum
Long lived border and specimen plant with brilliant flowers in clusters on upright stems. First year flowering Helenium is hardy and easy to grow rewarding you with picking flowers in shades of Yellow, Orange and Bronze. Cut when flowers are half open or leave uncut for a colourful border display that bees can also enjoy. Transplant seedlings into humus rich soil. This natural late summer flowering period can be delayed by pruning plants when 30cm high.
