Super Salad Ingredient

Use about a 10% - 30% ratio of micros to other leafy greens. If you’re only using a small amount of micros, toss the salad first and sprinkle the micros on top as a garnish or they will get lost.

Pizza sm

Pizza Topping

Sprinkle (or pile) on top of a hot pizza right before serving - no need for a side salad!

Burger sm

On Burgers – any kind!

Burgers are the perfect microgreens vehicle. Take one whole grilled Portobello mushroom cap, marinate briefly in olive oil, red wine and garlic, and serve it on a ciabatta roll with a thick slice of tomato, basil and any variety of microgreen.

Prawns sm

With Grilled Fish or Prawns

Place a bed of mixed micros on the plate and top with grilled or sautéed fish or prawns. Turns a simple presentation into something special or put them on top instead, especially celery or coriander micros.

Poached Eggs sm

Breakfast Anyone?

Start with a piece of buttered toast, add a pile of micros, sprinkle with finely grated parmesan and top with a fried or poached egg (or two). Drizzle with chilli sauce and/or aioli sauce to taste.

Pasta sm

With Pasta

Place a handful of micros in a pasta bowl and make a well for the pasta. Add pasta and top with any kind of sauce. This really decorates a bowl of spaghetti and adds nutrition too.

Micros Snack sm

Almond Butter or Micros Snack

Try this quick afternoon pick-me-up - almond butter on yummy grainy bread with a good inch of micros - with or without a dill pickle.


Salmon sm

Smoked Salmon & Microgreen Roll-up

Take a slice of smoked salmon and place some micros and a slice of tomato or cucumber on top. Roll up and secure with a toothpick for a tray of snacks or eat right away but skip the toothpick. The bright green and orange is beautiful!

Soup Topper

Rocket micros are delicious on top of potato soup. Experiment with any micro and soup combo. Minestrone topped with beetroot and radish micros, or a tomato soup with basil and celery micros. The list is endless.

Falafel or Wrap Filling

Micros are the perfect green in a falafel with cool Tzatziki (greek yoghurt and cucumber sauce) and tahini sauce (tahini, lemon juice, garlic and whisk in a splash of water to thin it).

Microgreens, Straight Up

With diced avocado, sprinkled with a bit of garlic salt and drizzled with olive oil. The olive oil and avocado add a nice mellowing note.

In Tacos

Choose any micro at all, they’re wonderful in a taco.

In Almost any Sandwich

All you need is a good inch of crunchy micros in a sandwich. Most popular sandwich micros are one of the cress types or mustard streaks.
